Flashing stock ROMs or official firmware on your smartphone helps you unbrick, fix certain software faults or restore the phone to it’s factory (default) state. Flashing stock ROMs can also help to migrate your phone from Custom to Official firmware.
In the case where your phone is rooted, updating or upgrading via OTA (or even using SD card upgrade) might brick your phone. The best option to avoid having a faulty phone software (if you have previously modified your phone’s system partition) is to use stock ROMs that can be flashed over a PC, using the relevant Flashtool.

Flashing Instructions
Once you have downloaded the firmware file from above link, follow instructions below to flash:
- Unpack the archive (zip, rar, 7z, etc) to an empty folder on your PC
- Launch SP Flashtool and select scatter file from extracted files
- Click on Download and connect the phone to PC via USB cable.
- Then wait patiently while the PC installs the new firmware.
