Asus will be offering all the ROG Phones this year, namely Standard, Pro, and Ultimate versions. The Pro Version will most likely not be coming to the US, and Ultimate is a limited edition worldwide. This leaves the standard version, which comes in two variants, 12 GB RAM and one with 16 GB, both of which have 256 GB of storage.
The main sensor is 16MP, which allows for good pictures in outdoor lighting, although in low light it’s a drawback, as on the ROG 3. The second rear sensor is 16MP and the third sensor is a 5MP. The front camera has a 24MP, allowing for some pretty detailed selfies if the lighting is good.
The ROG Phone 5 will run on Android 11 OS. Asus has confirmed that the ROG Phone 5 series will get two years of software support, although the previous device has missed some updates.
Playing games at the highest refresh rate might hurt the battery, which is why this gaming phone has a 6,000mAh battery. Pushing 144fps for a few hours in-game will eat up quite a bit of battery power.
